my house was built on land where there was once forest...maybe it was an ancient undiscovered burial grounds for the native americans living in the area any thoughts

Is your home near any water such as a river, natural lake, creek or any kind of natural wet-land? Native Americans mostly (but not always) lived near bodies of water. Also, if there is a river close by that forest could have been used for lumber and there could have been lumber, and/or terpentine mills nearby. But, yeah...I agree w/ Calvin... You can't just assume a place is haunted b/c you want it to be...there has to be activity.
